What exactly is Sole Guard, and how does it protect my shoes?

Do I need a heat gun or special tools to apply it?

Yes — heat is needed for the adhesive to bond properly. A hairdryer isn’t enough; a heat gun is recommended. You’ll also need scissors, a pencil, and a cloth for pressure during application.

How long does it last before I need to replace it?

On average, Sole Guard gives protection for 2–6 months. Light, casual wear can stretch it longer, while daily outdoor use may wear it down sooner. If the edges start lifting or the layer looks worn, it’s time to replace it.

Will applying Sole Guard prevent or slow down yellowing?

Can I reuse the same Sole Guard sheet after removing it once?

No. Sole Guard is a one-time shield. Once removed, the adhesive loses strength. Fresh sheets ensure proper grip and maximum protection for your sneakers.

Can I apply Sole Guard over a slightly dirty or worn sole, or does it need to be perfectly clean?

Always apply Sole Guard on a clean, dry sole. A dirty base weakens adhesion and shortens its life. Clean soles mean stronger grip, longer wear, and better protection.
