Frequently Asked Questions
What does Suede Reviver actually do?
Suede Reviver restores the raised nap and natural texture of suede and nubuck, revives faded or dull colour, and deeply conditions the material to convert dry, rough suede back to soft and supple. It also extends the lifespan of the material up to three times with regular use.
Will it change the colour of my suede?
No. The formula is completely colour-neutral and does not darken, lighten, or alter the original shade of any suede or nubuck. It is safe to use on whites, pastels, camel, navy, black, and all other colours without any risk of discolouration.
How many pairs of shoes does one bottle treat?
One 100 ml bottle covers up to 40 pairs of sneakers when used as directed. This makes it one of the most cost-effective suede care solutions available per pair.
Is it safe for all suede and nubuck colours?
Yes. The neutral formula is designed to be safe on every colour of suede, nubuck, and velvet without any risk of staining, transfer, or colour change. One bottle covers your entire collection regardless of shade.
How does it extend the life of suede up to 3 times?
Suede naturally loses moisture through wear, exposure to air, and contact with dirt. Suede Reviver replenishes that moisture and strengthens the material structure from within. Used regularly, this slows the rate of nap degradation and colour fading, significantly extending how long the material stays in good condition.
Can I use it on nubuck and velvet as well as suede?
Yes. Suede Reviver is formulated for all delicate raised-fibre materials including suede, nubuck, velvet, and brushed nylon. The spray works by conditioning and lifting the surface fibres regardless of which material they come from.
Do I need a brush as well, or does the spray do everything?
The spray handles deep conditioning and colour revival. A brush is recommended after the spray has dried to restore the nap to an even finish. The Sneakare 4X Suede Craft Brush is the ideal companion product for a complete suede care system.
How often should I use it?
For regular care, apply every 4–6 weeks or whenever the suede begins to look dull or feel dry. For items that are heavily worn or frequently exposed to moisture and dirt, more frequent application will maintain condition more effectively.
Can I use it on bags, jackets, and boots, not just shoes?
Yes. Suede Reviver works on any suede, nubuck, or velvet item including bags, jackets, boots, hats, and other garments. The same application method applies to all items.
Is it safe to use on white suede sneakers?
Yes. The neutral formula is specifically designed to be safe on white and light-coloured suede without any risk of yellowing, staining, or darkening. Always spot test on a small area first for any new or delicate item.
How long does the effect last?
The conditioning effect typically lasts 4–6 weeks depending on how frequently the shoes are worn and the conditions they are exposed to. Regular re-application maintains both the softness and the colour vibrancy over the long term.
Can I use it on wet suede?
No. Always allow suede to dry completely before applying Suede Reviver. Applying to wet or damp suede can interfere with the formula’s absorption and may affect the finish. If shoes have been caught in the rain, allow 24 hours to dry fully before treating.
